I am now considered full term (37 weeks) and the final countdown is on - yay!! I learned at the doctor today that the baby is locked and loaded for delivery (head down). Now ... we wait.
Last week my 9 year old nephew Carter sent me an email with my family's guesses on the sex, weight, and date the baby will be born. (Thanks Carter!) Here they are:
Carter: boy, Nov 17th, 8lbs 4oz
Grandpa (my dad): girl, Nov 16th, 7lbs 8oz
Dad (my brother Kirk): girl, Nov 22nd, 7lbs 12oz
Olivia (my 6 yr old niece): girl, Nov 19th, 7lbs 12oz
Grandma (my mom): boy, Nov 20th, 8lbs 2oz
Mom (my sister-in-law Angela): girl, Nov 14th, 8lbs 3oz
I'll take the earliest and the smallest please! Any other guesses out there? ;)

"and the final countdown is on"
Oh, don't EVEN get me started... Now that songs in my head and it's not even 7 a.m.
I'm going Nov. 15 for a dollar. I mean 8 lbs 6 oz.
I notice everyone is avoiding Nov 18 and 21... I'm going to guess Nov 18 (3 days early) and 8 lbs, 1 oz.
It's the FINAL COUNTDOWN...'
I guess I will take the 21st then. Of November, that is. 7lbs, 10oz.
Woo!
I still think you should hold out for a Sagittarian :), but I know these things are not entirely within your control. There's probably not a lot of enthusiasm for November 27, eh? In that case I'm going to join your dad and say November 16 as well. It's my sister's birthday and I get irrationally tickled when I know multiple people born on the same day. Oh and uh a boy and let's see...8lbs 4 oz. Sorry, that's kinda big, but you and Nate are strapping, healthy, tall people!
I like all these early guesses! AP, You get the prize for picking my birthday! Lynne (Mom) you don't get a prize for picking your own birthday. :)
My guess is a boy and whatever your due date is, you will be 9 days late. Weight will be 7 lbs 1 oz. and the baby will be healthy and gorgeous!
I'm going to revise my guess to 11/13 and 7 lbs, 9.5 oz. Or so.
Word reached us veeeerrrrryyyy late (miserable news reporting from the West Coast) of the birth of the ... ummm ... did Marcus say it was a boy? So, congratulations Kirsten and Nate, we're proud of you. And happy to hear everything went well.
