Camping at Mt Rainier

We headed down to the north side of Mt Rainier this past weekend for Isaac's first camping trip!

After a lovely hike past a 9 foot diameter Douglas Fir tree (cool!), we went down to the river to throw some rocks. What a perfect place to spend the afternoon.

The next morning we drove to Sunrise for a day hike. Isaac was very excited!

Jumping, Swimming, and Trains

Gramma and Papa

We had a really fun visit with Gramma and Grampa (or Mama and Papa as Isaac calls them).

On Saturday, we went to the beach where Nate taught Isaac the trick of "letting your legs go numb". It's a WA-thing, I guess.

Monday was my mom's birthday!! That morning, we went to the Japanese Gardens to feed the Koi. Isaac also learned how to hop across the river on rocks!

The Coast
