Future Husky?
After an afternoon hike around the UW Arboretum we found ourselves near Husky Stadium. To our sheer delight, the gates were open!

Tide pooling ... in Seattle!
Carkeek Park always delivers in the kid department. This past Sunday was no exception. It started with our usual stroll along the beach with some rock tossing (a favorite) as we waited for trains to roar by. Then we started looking for "baby crabs" (also known as "spiders") which we found plus other sea creatures: snails, worms, bugs, and sea anemone!

Pumpkin Patch
Bob's Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch in Snohomish was a big hit. Two words: COW TRAIN!

Fall Fun
We took a trip to Remlinger Farms this past weekend.
Isaac got to ride on a real steam train and drive a car!
He on-sighted his first boulder problem ...
and went on a pony ride!!
It was a VERY exciting day. So exciting that instead of napping, Isaac spent his entire 2 hour nap time in his crib jumping up and down, talking, and yelling "choo choo train!"
This puddle sure is interesting, WAY more interesting than the Boeing 787 Dreamliner
