More Camping!

We've been having so much fun camping with Isaac that we decided to do it again. This time we headed 21 miles up the Chiwawa River Road to Phelps Creek campground. A lovely little spot made even lovelier because we were joined by many friends.

It was a COLD night in the tent (low 40s) so the next morning we warmed up by the fire while eating breakfast.

Camping at Westport

We heard reports of bad black flies and mosquitoes in the mountains so decided last minute to go camping at Twin Harbors State Park in Westport.

Then it was off to Westhaven State Park to watch the surfers. Apparently collecting sticks is more interesting.

We decided to bring some fresh crab to the family BBQ later that afternoon. Isaac made sure to say "bye bye" to the ones in the tank
